Keratolytic peeling for acne-prone skin

Salicylic Acid Peel is a chemical peel based on Salicylic Acid , a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) known for its ability to penetrate pores, dissolve excess sebum and reduce inflammation . Thanks to its keratolytic and sebum-regulating properties, it is particularly suitable for the treatment of active acne, blackheads and seborrheic-prone skin . The antibacterial action of Salicylic Acid also makes it effective in the treatment of hyperkeratosis and post-inflammatory spots .

COMPOSITION

Salicylic Acid (10% - 30%) – Lipid-soluble exfoliant, helps dissolve sebum in pores

Mandelic Acid – Gentle exfoliation with antimicrobial action

Azelaic Acid – Anti-inflammatory and skin-brightening properties

Soothing extracts – Reduction of skin reactivity

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Deep exfoliation : dissolves superficial dead cells and promotes cell turnover

Sebum regulation : penetrates the pores, dissolves sebum and prevents the formation of blackheads and whiteheads

Antibacterial action : counteracts the proliferation of Cutibacterium acnes , responsible for inflammatory lesions

Brightening effect : reduces post-inflammatory spots and evens out the complexion

PROTOCOLS FOR USE

Concentration 10% – Initial treatments for sensitive skin or for maintenance

Concentration 20% – Treatments for moderate acne and persistent seborrhea

Concentration 30% – Deep peeling for severe acne and thickened skin

Cycle of 4-6 sessions , with intervals of 10-14 days between one session and the next

Avoid direct sun exposure for 24/48 hours after treatment , use SPF 30 or 50

USEFUL INFO

After application , redness and light to moderate peeling may occur, indicating proper cell turnover. The use of post-peeling soothing and hydrating agents is recommended to minimize skin discomfort.
